The day
The joy and love that this couple shares infects everyone around them. This is one of those love tales that draws everybody in, and that makes you smile, even if you just met Luke and Jason.
Annette taught Luke in high school a lifetime ago, so this wedding was super special for us to film. When the couple met they had so much in common, and couldn’t believe they’d never met before. They are totally perfect for each other, and couldn’t stop grinning the entire day.
The ceremony and reception were both at Summerfield Estate on a fresh, crisp Melbourne day. The grooms were stunning in their suits from By Him and their matching ear-to-ear smiles.
The ceremony was officiated by Melissa Fahey. The grooms’ beautiful dog Molly was an important part of the day, and led them down the aisle to be married.
Luke and Jason are both from huge Italian families, and celebrating with family and friends was the focus of the whole vibrant event. Everyone laughed and ate and drank and danced, enjoying the music from Paper Hearts.
Weddings are anything but traditional anymore, and we especially love when couples throw in personal and unexpected touches to their day. This gorgeous couple just threw their wedding exactly as they wanted to, which is kind of what it should be about in the end.
It was a real honour and so much fun to be a part of your big day guys!
