The day
Kat and Mark had a vibrant late autumn wedding, with a ceremony and reception at the Metropolis, a new Southbank venue with amazing views of the water and the city skyline. This venue is sexy and sophisticated, a contemporary space with a gorgeous old-world glamour to it.
Kat was effortlessly chic in her gorgeous Jane Hill sheath gown, and simply did not stop smiling all day. The photographs included some enchanting shots in the cactus garden in the Botanical Gardens. We were running out of light, but we were able to squeeze in some photos in the ephemeral, magical timeslot of Melbourne dusk, thanks to the superb talents of Georgia Verrells.
This couple met through their careers as musical performers, and we just knew there was going to be some surprises and fun in store for the reception. During the speeches there was a surprise performance from the maid of honour and one of the groomsmen, that simply blew the guests away.
Such a beautiful couple and so much in love; thanks for letting us be a part of your amazing day!
