The day
Jess and Jackson’s wedding day was nine years in the making, first meeting when they were just teens. Jess put together a spectacular day (Jackson didn’t help much!), celebrating their nuptials at the breathtaking Zonzo Estate in the Yarra Valley.
The day began with a pre-wedding celebration at Jess’ house, with her family, closest friends and bridesmaids. Jackson was doing the same just a few suburbs over, having beers with the boys and enjoying the day with his family.
The couple wanted to make the most of Zonzo’s stunning photo locations, so they chose to have a ‘first look’ before the ceremony and take some photos before the guests arrived. Jackson’s reaction was priceless when he first saw Jess in her beautiful Raffaele Ciuca gown and Lizey Lu flowers
The Cappella chapel was the perfect spot for the ceremony, and the guests were treated to reflection and scripture, as well as heartfelt personal vows from the couple. It was a lovely mixture of tears and laughter.
The party kicked off with Paris by Night, including a dedication to Jess’s Italian heritage. The dancefloor under the stars was really magical, as was the couple’s choreographed dance number. A special thanks to Will from This Day Forward. He was the talented photographer for the day, it was our first time working together and we had a blast. It was by far one of our favourite weddings from 2020!
