The day
Megan and Jarrad first reached out to us while re-planning their wedding, after postponing their original celebration due to COVID. They wanted to make sure their second attempt would be successful, so they opted for a more intimate occasion with their closest family and friends. Only days out from their wedding, border closures prevented Jarrad’s Mum and Brother from attending, so we organised a last-minute live stream of their nuptials.
Megan and her bridesmaids got ready at her beautiful family home, and there were plenty of tears when Megan revealed her stunning Made With Love bridal gown. Jarrad and the boys got ready at home, alongside Murphy - the couples adorable fur-baby. Murphy looked incredibly dapper in his suit, and he made an appearance later in the day for some post-ceremony photos.
Their ceremony was held at Half Acre, with the amazing Precious Celebrations on hand to conduct the proceedings. In the couple’s own words, it was the perfect combination of emotional, funny, and romantic. Our friend Elsa Campbell was the photographer for the day, and you can see all the stunning photos here, including our favourite ones with Murphy.
We then headed into the city for cocktails and photos with the bridal party. Along with Elsa we strolled the city streets and laneways for that perfect Melbourne urban feel. The couple then joined guests for an intimate dinner at Vue de Monde, the elegant fine dining restaurant with 360 degree city views.
