Daniela + Lenny
QUAT QUATTA
The day
Daniela and Lenny were casualties of Covid, originally planning to marry in May 2020. They postponed the wedding 12 months, and it was well worth the wait. Melbourne turned on a beautiful winter’s day, with blue skies and soft sun, and the couple truly glowed all day.
Both Daniela and Lenny got ready at their parent’s homes, keeping with tradition and spending the morning with their bridal parties. Daniela wore a stunning Georgia Young gown, and when she revealed her outfit to her Dad there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. There was plenty of champagne flowing at the bride’s house and the boys enjoyed some scotch in custom glasses.
Their ceremony was held at St Brendan’s Church in Flemington, and the service had plenty of laughs and tears. We had the pleasure of working with Jessica Abby Photography for the first time and it was a fantastic experience. You can see all their stunning photos here.
After the ceremony we headed to Ripponlea for some cocktails and laneway photos, and the bridal party were able to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Just a small walking distance was their reception Quat Quatta, an iconic Melbourne venue first established in 1890. After waiting 12 months to celebrate, the party finally began with music from Melbourne Entertainment Co (featuring Jonathan on the saxophone). We’re so happy the day turned out perfectly for the couple and their families and friends.
